Wildscapes Foundation is proud to be partnering with the Behring Global Educational Foundation in the distribution of wheelchairs in Tanzania and Rwanda this summer 2019.

Mission Statement
A division of the Behring Global Educational Foundation, The Wheelchair Foundation is a nonprofit organization leading an international effort to create awareness of the needs and abilities of people with physical disabilities, to promote the joy of giving, create global friendship, and to deliver a wheelchair to every child, teen and adult in the world who needs one, but cannot afford one. For these people, the Wheelchair Foundation delivers Hope, Mobility and Independence.

In 2016 a remarkable young conservationist, Libby Gear and her father Wade Gear came to us with a desire to be involved in our conservation efforts.  In lieu of gifts for her sweet sixteen party, Libby raised funds for our Chem Chem Lion Project.  Having visited Africa several times with her family Libby is more aware than most of both the gratitude for the experiences life has given her as well as the desperate need of many communities throughout Africa.  Learning of our wheelchair distribution project this year Libby is once again joining us to raise funds for this worthy community project.

You may also donate via check.  Please make checks out to the Banovich Wildscapes Foundation and note Libby Gear in the memo line so we know to direct the funds to her project.  Checks may be sent to the following address:

 2 Pine Creek Road

The Banovich Wildscapes Foundation is pleased to be involved in programs around the world that are engaged with today's youth.  We are inspired and moved by those like Libby Gear who have an awareness and motivation to help preserve the earth's wildspaces and wildlife!!!!
